Safety and well-being is a fundamental component of Dove Recruitment’s business practices. The Dove Team are encouraged to assist management to promote workplace and community wellness as part of our caring and safety focused culture. Dove Recruitment understands the importance of providing support to its workers, applicants and wider community to positively promote physical and mental health.
To ensure we are monitoring safety across host employer sites, we ask our on-hire workers to complete Take 5 forms when requested. Take 5 forms are a checklist used to assist with identification and control of hazards prior to commencing work or starting a task. As part of this initiative, we offer a quarterly prize to one worker chosen at random for completing a Take 5 form.
Our number one priority is to ensure that our internal staff, on-hire workers and clients arrive home safely every day. Through regular attendance at Government body workshops and online service reviews, close relationships have been formed with WorkSafe Queensland and Work Cover Queensland representatives to ensure that Dove Recruitment is meeting legislative standards and requirements.
Dove Recruitment offers a Wellness in the Workplace Program for all employees including its casual on-hire workforce. We visit host employer sites periodically to leave fresh fruit and healthy snacks for all workers to encourage healthy eating in the workplace. The feedback we have received from our host employers and on-hire workers has been very positive, appreciative and supportive of this initiative.
